Architect
Darren has 15 years experience in the construction
industry and has a reputation as a highly practical and effective project
architect.
Educated in Hong Kong, Darren quickly gained large project experience there,
working on high rise commercial and residential projects. After completing
his architectural degree in Australia he spent several years in Sydney’s
Department of Housing, responsible for medium density residential projects
from design to completion.
Darren has a keen attention to detail and combines this with comprehensive
construction knowledge gained from many years of on site
experience. His knowledge and experience in co-ordinating input from other
consultant disciplines ensures an efficient development of the design and
creation of a coordinated and effective construction documentation package.
Since joining KTA in 2001, Darren has been responsible, as project team
leader, for many of our larger and more complex projects, including high rise
residential, commercial and infrastructure work.
Darren leads by example and is a mentor to many of our younger staff.
